CartMoat is a policy engine for Shopify checkout. It enforces contribution-margin rules across discounts, shipping, and payment methods, and produces audit evidence for decisions.
Eligibility and access
- You must have authority to install and configure the app.
- You must maintain a valid Shopify account and required scopes.
- Access may be staged or limited during rollout.
Your responsibilities
- Configure policies carefully and test before cutover.
- Ensure your rules comply with your own pricing and legal duties.
- Maintain your own backups of policy intent and business logic.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the service or attempt to bypass safeguards.
- Do not use CartMoat to violate Shopify policies or applicable law.
- Do not interfere with the security or integrity of the service.
Data and privacy
CartMoat processes shop data to enforce policies and provide audit evidence. Our Privacy policy explains what we collect and how we delete data.
Availability and changes
We may modify or suspend the service to protect reliability, security, or correctness. We may also update these terms; continued use of CartMoat means you accept the updates.
No warranty
CartMoat is provided as-is. We do not guarantee specific margin outcomes or business results. You remain responsible for testing and validating your checkout behavior.
Termination
You may uninstall CartMoat at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security risk, or breach of these terms.
